Coverage planned before the first shot.

The best event footage is not captured, it is arranged. We plan the coverage while the event is still being designed — so the moments worth filming are lit, staged and scheduled to exist.

Camera operator filming a live event with a stabilised rig

01 — Overview

The best footage is arranged, not captured.

A photographer who arrives on the morning of an event can only record what happens. A photographer briefed during the design of that event can influence it — asking for a two-minute window before doors open when the room is finished and empty, or for the product reveal to hold three seconds longer than it strictly needs to.

That is the difference we are set up to make. Because we are usually designing or producing the event as well, the shot list is built from the run sheet, and the run sheet knows about the shot list. The result is coverage that matches what the event was supposed to feel like, rather than a record of where the camera happened to be standing.

02 — What we provide

From planning through to delivered files.

Event photography

Coverage of the space, the programme, the speakers and the audience, shot against an agreed brief.

Event videography

Multi-camera or single-operator coverage planned around the sequence of the day.

Interviews

Speaker, delegate and client interviews recorded properly — lit, mic'd and in a room chosen for sound.

Behind-the-scenes

Build-up, rehearsal and preparation footage, which is often where the most useful material is.

Highlight films and social edits

A main film plus the shorter vertical and square cuts each platform actually needs.

Post-production and delivery

Edit, grade, sound, subtitles and delivery in the formats and sizes you will use.

03 — Capabilities

What we are asked to cover.

Conference and stage coverage
Speakers, plenary sessions and stage moments where lighting and timing are fixed.
Exhibition and stand coverage
Stands photographed with and without visitors, including the empty-stand shots that only exist before doors open.
Architectural and interior
Finished spaces shot for the way they are used, not only for the way they are designed.
Product and detail
Close work on products, finishes and details that a wide shot cannot carry.
Aerial and establishing
Wide and establishing footage where the location is part of the story.
Live social delivery
Same-day turnaround where something has to be published while the event is still running.

04 — How we work

The shot list and the run sheet are written together.

  1. 01

    Agree the brief

What the footage is for, where it will be published, and how long it has to stay useful.

  2. 02

    Plan the coverage

Shot list built from the programme, with the moments that need arranging flagged early.

  3. 03

    Shoot

Crew on site through build-up and the event, working to the plan and to what actually happens.

  4. 04

    Edit and deliver

Selection, edit, grade and delivery in every format the brief needs.

05 — Where it applies

What the material is usually for.

Event documentation
A record for internal reporting, sponsors and stakeholders.
Marketing and campaign assets
Footage and stills that carry the next campaign rather than sitting in an archive.
Sales and business development
Material that shows a prospect what the experience was actually like.
Portfolio and case studies
Documentation of a finished stand, space or programme for future use.

06 — Why Elite Marcom

Why the coverage matches the event.

A

Planned with the event, not after it

The coverage plan is written while the programme is being designed, so the shots exist to be taken.

B

Access other crews do not have

When we are producing the event, the camera is in the room during build-up and rehearsal.

C

Edited for where it will be used

Aspect ratios, lengths and subtitles decided against the platforms you actually publish on.

07 — Selected work

Our projects page carries photography of the environments this team designs, builds and covers.
