Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Devise and implement effective sales strategies to achieve conference and exhibition revenue targets.
    • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to maximize sales potential.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
    • Understand client needs and tailor sales pitches and proposals accordingly.
  3. Revenue Generation:
    • Drive sales of exhibition booths, sponsorships, and delegate registrations.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.
  4. Marketing and Promotion:
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
    • Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance outreach and visibility.
  5. Event Coordination:
    • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
    • Provide on-site support during conferences and exhibitions as required.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
  7. Budget Management:
    • Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring expenses are within approved limits.
    • Forecast revenue and track financial progress against targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in conference and exhibition sales, with a strong track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales techniques and principles, particularly in the events industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings during event periods.
